The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) is the university of applied sciences of the six cantons of Central Switzerland. It encompasses the Schools of Engineering and Architecture, Business, Computer Science and Information Technology, Social Work, Art Film Design, and Music. With more than 8,000 students enrolled in its education programmes and some 12,000 participants in continuing and executing education, almost 350 new research projects launched every year, it is the largest educational institution in the heart of Switzerland.

The Lucerne School of Computer Science and Information Technology offers bachelor's and master's degree programs and continuing education programs in Computer Science, Information Technology and Business Information Technology.
